Shepherds Huts
Where and Who
The off grid Shepherds Huts sit beside Wiggold Wood and its ancient oaks, with incredible views across the fields. 25 minute stroll down the old railway line to the farm shop and cafe, great for kids on bikes. Sleeps 4 people (across 2 huts) with space for up to 4 more in tents. Ideal for one/two families, nature loving couples/mates after a private spot with tonnes of space.
What's Inside
- The main hut has a big double bed and cosy woodburner, a table and chairs
- The second hut (smaller), simply a bedroom, furnished with a double bed, a couple of stools and small shelf
What's Outside
- A south facing outdoor fireplace with stunning views perfect for cooking, with logs to sit on
- A simple covered outdoor kitchen with a gas ring and cold water sink
- All basic pots, pans, crockery and cookery utensils as well as a couple of bags of firewood
- Picnic bench
- A private compost loo just inside the wood 10 seconds away and a simple heat-your-own water bucket shower
- A separate standalone cold water tap. All water is from the farm bore hole, safe and delicious to drink

- Don't bring too much food!The farm shop is full of fresh veg, fruit, meat, dairy and bread from the farm as well as all the groceries, alcohol and household items you could need. Coffee and cakes, lunches
What To Do Here
- Relax round the fire / in the sunshine (!) with stunning views
- Let the children roam around the ancient Wiggold Wood, right next to the huts and hours of fun
- Amble down the old railway line (or bike..wonderfully flat and smooth) to the farm shop to pick up local fresh organic food to take back and cook on the fire
- Hire an Ooni pizza oven. A great activity with delicious results
- Adults only? Enjoy a private sauna session, just across the field then cool off in the natural swimming pond or shower fed from the farm bore hole (email us to book)
- Hire eBikes from Cotswold eBikes who are based on the farm. Child seats/trailers available. Multiple routes taking in the best of the Cotswolds sights, food and watering holes
- Visit Cirencester (2 miles), a lovely historical market town with a great lido, museum and lots of indie shops
Important Info
- Arrival from 4.30pm
- Departure by 11am
- ! No electricity !
- Cars park 30 seconds walk from the huts. Max 2 cars at the field, additional to stay in shop overflow car park 15 mins walk (other cars can shuttle)
- Pack in pack out - no facility to take your rubbish though glass and tin recycling at the farm shop
- No dogs, day visitors or amplified music
- 2 night minimum stay. 3 night min for bank holidays
