The Farm Project CIC : Harvest & Cook Lead

This is a seasonal role from March to end October 2026
Part time (option to combine with shop/cafe work for full time) with potential opportunity to become full time.

The Farm Project CIC hosts week long residential stays for children and young people on a working organic farm, as well as day visits and holiday club. Through hands on growing, harvesting, cooking, caring for animals and spending time in the woods, it is a chance for deep connection with the countryside and benefits this can bring.

We are looking for a confident cook, passionate about real food and where it comes from, to lead harvest and cooking sessions with visiting groups. They will also lead the farm and woodland based holiday club and school farm tours. Some hands on veg growing knowledge, willing to learn about the wider farm and a warm smile required. 2.5 year Paid Organic Horticultural Traineeship.

A great opportunity for a hardworking passionate about organic growing person who wants to be a vegetable grower to join our growing team in March 2026, with a view to becoming our next 2.5-year Trainee soon after.

We are looking specifically for someone who has already had some experience as a longish term wwoofer, trainee or seasonal worker.

The successful applicant needs to have a 'can do' flexible attitude and be a good team player. The majority of the time will be growing but there will also be work in the shop once or twice a month (full training given).
The traineeship is a 3 season structured practical and theoretical programme aiming to fully skill individuals up to become commercial organic growers.

Seasonal Organic Horticultural Labourer.

We are looking to recruit a seasonal labourer to join our small team for the 2026 growing season.
The role will involve assisting in all aspects of crop production and harvest of a wide range of Organic fruit and vegetable crops. Harvesting of soft fruit will be a key part of this role.
Basic training will be given to successful applicant, but we emphasise that this is a labouring position rather than a training position.
Previous experience of Organic horticulture at a commercial scale is essential.
Physical fitness and ability to work in all weather conditions is essential.

Length of contract - 7 months beginning of April till end of October
Accomodation available to rent. Full time position.
Minimum Wage.
