There is a lovely open campsite with a great view. We have decided to keep the admin simple and the costs down so YOU MUST ARRIVE IN SHOP HOURS - bookings not taken so please do not ring. there is lots of space so you wont be turned away, if there is ever a big crowd there just might be a wait for the water tap.......... if its lovely weather there might be a queue for the loos and the cold water tap, plenty of space for tents in the field though so we wont turn you away so long as you arrive in shop hours] Please check all details here before setting out to make sure you are happy with our rules and regs.
Lovely organic cafe 4 minutes walk offers coffee and cakes all day and lunches.
Saturdays lunch is veggie, Sunday lunch includes a meat option straight from the farm and vegan/veggie choices too with lots of yummy puddings.
we dont take bookings unless there are more than 8 of you in a group in which case we ask for a small deposit and pre booking.
Groups of 8 or over attract a 10% surcharge.

Magical open glade
This is a secret spot in deer's choice wood (planted in 1991) near the stone circle.
The young wood is great for camping, enough tiny paths and trees to get lost in,
but lots of light coming in as the trees are not yet mature.
This little glade takes just 8 campers.
Easter to October.
Special Occasions Field - Small private campsite
We have a small field space available for family gatherings. This costs £500 plus vat from friday evening till sunday evening. We have a maximum capacity of 50 people inclusive of children staying on site, with very limited carparking space. please note if booking this field there would be the additional cost of the shepherds hut which lives there! and sleeps two adults
The lane to this field is not suited for lots of traffic going backwards and forwards so is not suitable for lots of day visitors, but is great for a camping event. Amplified music by arrangement only with a curfew of midnight.
Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed camping at the farm with those amazing views and such peace and quiet. We will definitely come again soon. Thank you!
