Experienced Grower

Starting Late Feb/early March 2019
An exciting new opportunity to join the dynamic team of around 40 people who make up Abbey Home Farm.
Primarily we are looking for an organic veg grower, but this is not a straight forward veg growing job, so not for someone who only likes being alone in a field in the middle of nowhere!
There are three key strands to this role:
- Commercial Organic vegetable production.
- Delivering horticultural based education sessions to a variety of generally quite small school and adult groups.
- Attending to Cut flower production and Ornamental flower beds.
This person will assist the Head grower in maintaining high standards in all strands of gardens responsibilities at all times.

if this sounds like you please email hilary@theorganicfarmshop.co.uk for a job description, and include a letter of interest and CV.

Level 3 or equivalent Nursery Practitioner - Part time or full time considered.

Now that the nursery is running at full capacity we are looking for a new member of the team.
We are particularly looking for someone with a deep knowledge of the natural world. The emphasis of the Farm Nursery is on child led outdoor play including growing (and eating!) organic vegetables, woodland activities and farm activities. Starting Jan 2019.

If you are interested please email hilary with cv and relevant details of availability.
