Unusual Position for an Experienced Grower

Starting Late Feb/early March 2019
An exciting new opportunity to join the dynamic team of around 40 people who make up Abbey Home Farm.
Primarily we are looking for an organic veg grower, but this is not a straight forward veg growing job, so not for someone who only likes being alone in a field in the middle of nowhere!
There are three key strands to this role:
- Commercial Organic vegetable production.
- Delivering horticultural based education sessions to a variety of generally quite small school and adult groups.
- Attending to Cut flower production and Ornamental flower beds.
This person will assist the Head grower in maintaining high standards in all strands of gardens responsibilities at all times.

if this sounds like you please see a full job description here. If you are interested please email hilary@theorganicfarmshop.co.uk include a letter of interest and CV.
