About the courses

The most unique thing about our courses is how so much of the fresh produce is grown just outside the kitchen door. Our 12 acre (Soil Association certified) garden produces over 180 varieties of vegetables, soft fruit and herbs and surrounds the teaching kitchen on all sides.

Although we supplement our ingredients with imported produce when not in season in the UK, most of the menus are inspired by the seasons here on the farm.

Everything you cook with is certified organic except salt and our own honey.

Our courses are quite hands on with a little bit of demonstration too. Groups are small, generally between 5 and 10ish.

We welcome cooks of all levels, beginners through to skilled cooks who are looking for new ideas or different ways of eating.

Please let us know if you have any allergies or intolerances when you book a course and depending on the recipe we can often substitute an ingredient for you.
