We welcome enquiries for any of the above, using our green room and outside terrace (new!) when the sun is shining.
Buffet lunches from £30 per head. Room hire costs depending on the occasion and level of service required.

WEDDINGS AT ABBEY HOME FARM
Simplicity is the key. We provide everything, which is either from the farm or from the shop. Below are a couple of suggestions to help you plan your
special day.
1) Afternoon/Evening wedding reception in the green room
A lovely big space for eating and music for up to 175 people incorporating the green room for meeting and dancing with the adjoining double cafe area for eating. SATURDAYS ONLY
suggested timings for this option above
3pm Guests arrive, have a hot/cold drink and snack if wanted,(sometimes people have travelled a long way) then go to the stone circle by tractor and trailer for blessing/ceremony
5pm Gather in the Green Room for Reception with champagne/drink of choice/canapes
6.30pm Proceed into cafe area for wedding meal ( both cafe and green room if more than 100 guests)
8pmish Music, Dancing with paying bar if required, in the Green Room with lots of space to sit and talk without loud music in the cafe areas adjoining it.
10.00pm (or later by negotiation) retire to accomodation on or off farm.
Room Cost for the whole space £1500 plus vat from 3pm - 10.00 pm (later possible for an extra charge.)
2) Lunchtime wedding meal
A lovely big space which can be used Weds to Sat during the day for up to 75 people for a buffet style meal/reception.
The green room is built using green oak from the farm itself. The lighting is all low energy and the heating
is from a woodchip boiler and the woodburner in the room itself, winter weddings have the glow from the fire
all day. This room has its own front doors, toilets and kitchen so although next to the shop and cafe
can be quite separate from the public.

11 or 12am meet at the green room and take a tractor to the stone circle for blessing/ceremony
1.30ishpm Reception with drinks and canapes
3pm Enjoy a buffet lunch with live or recorded music
After lunch enjoy a walk in the woods or around the farm.
Room Cost £500 plus vat from 11am - 5pm (later possible for an extra charge)
Food
Hot or cold buffets (2 courses) – Vegetarian costs from £30 per
head, and Meat/Fish from £35 per head.
We can provide a wide range of dishes from our award winning kitchens. Vegetarian
or our own meat, we specialise in catering for special diets. Everything is
seasonal and depending on the time of year a large percentage is from the garden or the farm. We can talk you through what will be ready in the garden at the
time
of your wedding.
Extras can include tea & coffee, fruit bowls, a cheese board using all our
own cheeses or a wedding cake.
Drinks/
Alcohol
All alcohol can be ordered on a sale or return basis. Wine ranges from £13
per bottle, beer from £3.50 per bottle. We can provide Cava or Champagne
with or without
our own home-made blackcurrant cordial from the garden. Many other soft drinks are available. A running bar can also be organised with a £50 barman charge.
Flowers
We provide the flowers from elaborate arrangements to simple jam jars using
whatever is in the garden or the woods, depending on the season.
Accomodation
All accommodation is on our website (www.theorganicfarmshop.co.uk)
and includes the Holiday Cottage, the Yurts, a Hut and the campsite. Many couples
have spent their wedding night in our secluded romantic hut in the woods!
We also have our very own Stone Circle where you can have a blessing. The farm trailer to and from the circle from the green room costs £25 per 40 people, return journey. (or its a 25 minute walk up an old railway line lane)
We also have a horse and cart to take the wedding couple (rustic look, straw bales to sit on) to the stones. poa
DIY weddings
We have a small field space available for DIY Weddings where you can hire your own marquee, bring in your own catering and have people to stay in tents. This costs £500 plus vat from friday evening till sunday evening. We have a maximum capacity of 50 people staying on site, with very limited carparking space.
This field is not suited for lots of traffic going backwards and forwards but is great for campers and an evening event. Amplified music by arrangement only with a curfew of midnight.
