Lots of different ways to stay on the farm.  We look forward to welcoming you at Abbey Home Farm whether you choose a tent, a yurt, the hut or the lovely holiday cottage. The shop and cafe are open on sundays this year so you can enjoy a homegrown sunday lunch (booking advised) and/or a good browse in the shop as well as long walks on the farm or sightseeing around Cirencester.

4 Yurt Eco-Camp (easter to october) 

On the edge of a wood with lovely views. Suitable for holidays, friends / family gatherings, sleep overs with a difference, outdoor residential workshops, retreats,... All cooking utensils and mattresses provided.  Outside fireplace, gas ring and a wood burner in the larger yurt for rainy times.  Sleeps 18  comfortably (maximum number for day or night visitors). Compost loos, foot pump and bucket shower.  Just bring bedding, torches and nightlights.

4 yurt camp    (maximum 18 people)     Friday to Friday  -   £975    3 day weekends Friday, Saturday    and Sunday nights - £550    4 day week - Monday, Tues. Weds    and Thursday nights  - £495

Opportunity to use the green room simultaneously for workshops might

be possible. Other activities can be arranged such as speciality cooking classes, farm tours, bushcraft, and more.

Please note, this is a real eco camp. No plugs for hair straighteners, no tiled shower blocks but lovely compost loos and warm your own water on the fire for washing.

The Single Yurt
We have a single Yurt for hire from Easter to October. It is in a secret woodland glade about 20 minutes walk from the farm shop. It is rentable for up to 5 people, is equipped with mattresses, gas ring with cooking utensils and an outside fireplace. There is firewood, water and peace provided.  Just bring bedding, nightlights and torch....

Cost: £40 for the yurt based on 1 or 2 adults staying. Minimum 2 night stay. Children £5 each extra per night.

Extra visitors £15 each per night. Maximum 5 people as it is situated in a lovely glade which has a fragile environment.

we now have a coin operated ( one pound coins) hot shower and flush loo for hut and single yurt occupants only a few minutes walk from the hut and yurt.

Hut by the Pond

A magical spot at the waters edge surrounded by trees. Sleeps 2 maximum (adults only.)Woodburner, gas ring, outside fireplace, table and 2 chairs,double mattress(no bedding) and cooking utensils provided also water and firewood. Just bring bedding, nightlights and torch...... Cost: £50 per night for one or two adults. Green Field Campsite - stop press we are going to be introducing a booking system and are changing our campsite location this year due to popular demand.

until this new system is sorted please note that as before bookings not taken so please do not ring.  just come within shop hours and we will find you a space. (please dont come out of shop hours as there is nobody to show you where to go)

For £4 per night per person (children £1 each extra) you can camp in a beautiful spot on the farm with a lovely view.  There are compost loos and a cold water tap available. We dont have pitches marked out so campers do not need to phone but just need to arrive within shop hours.  This campsite is not suitable for large groups or people who want to party late into the night. 

there is a communal fire and the possibility to hire a brazier for £5 night if you would like your own fire.  we also sometimes have braziers for sale in the shop made for us in india.

NEW eco CAMPSITE

our new site will still be informal without marked pitches, there will be a car parking space next to the front field with no vehicles on site, making it a lovely big vehicle free area for families to feel safe letting their children run around.

there will be a small amount of pitches behind this field for camper vans and people who would like their cars next to them.

facilities still our famous basic ones!! compost loos, cold water taps, and this year there will be some solar bush showers to hire and a foot pump shower - heat your own water, put it in a bucket and pump it over yourself in a little shower hut.... great job for the kids.

Small campsite for special occasions

We have a small field space available for DIY Weddings or gatherings where you can hire your own marquee, bring in your own catering and have people to stay in tents. This costs £500 plus vat from friday evening till sunday evening. We have a maximum capacity of 50 adults plus children staying on site, with very limited carparking space.

This field is not suited for lots of traffic going backwards and forwards but is great for campers and an evening event. Amplified music by arrangement only with a curfew of midnight. Please note this is not a party venue.

Lower Wiggold Cottage

A two bedroom old cotswold stone semi detached cottage in the depths of

the farm far from the hustle and the bustle.

Two bedrooms, kitchen, sitting room, bathroom, woodburner. with unusual

old and reclaimed furniture from our travels in India.

Dishwasher, use of washing machine, television and dvd, environmentally friendly cleaning products.  The organic bed linen shown above is available

to hire if requested.

100% organic farm shop and cafe 20 minutes walk or quiet 5-10 mins by bike on the farm lane. Sleeps 4 (plus little one)

The cottage has a small south facing garden and the whole farm to roam.

Sorry no pets.
