Low Carb High Veg

The modern diet is a riddle with simple carbohydrates that break down as sugar and create excess weight and bloating. We all love pizza, pasta and rice, but sometimes we want something a bit lighter. We will use a range of vegetables to create dishes that are low in carbohydrates but high in flavour, vegetables and protein. Recipes are gluten and grain free.

The day will consist of demonstration and hands on learning. Coffee and tea will be provided and a sit down lunch of the dishes that are created will be enjoyed. Please bring a container just in case of any leftovers. Cookery classes are taught in the farm shops teaching kitchen. The dishes created will be inspired by what is available from the vegetable garden.

All classes are vegetarian and we will happily cater for those who are vegan, gluten-free or have other special dietary requirements. Please let us know when booking so we can plan accordingly.

Parsnip, sage and hazelnut risotto
Sichuan stir fry with veg noodles
Vegetable based pizza
