SPECIAL OCCASIONS
If you are looking for somewhere to have a special lunch party or daytime get together this might be just the place.
Birthday lunches, christenings, wakes, or just large family get togethers take place here on a regular basis. For smaller groups the cafe is often more suitable, but if the numbers are above 20 then the Green Room makes a lovely private venue.
There is a large southfacing terrace for summer days, and a cosy woodburner for wintertime. Most people choose a sit down meal served buffet style.
The tables, made from reclaimed teak, seat app. 10 on each.
The style here is informal, no tie back chairs or hothouse flowers.
Instead the room is decorated with flowers from the garden or the woods around.
All food and drink is provided by us, as the venue and our ethos is organic.
This does not mean it is any more expensive than other places.
