Erin Baker

Erin was born and bred in a small rural town in New Hampshire USA. Coming from a family of home cooks, she learned early on the importance of good food. Erin is a professionally trained chef and worked in a variety of settings. She has been head chef and co-owner award winning vegetarian restaurant in California and after moving to England, head chef of Woodruff’s Organic Cafe in Stroud. Erin has been teaching cookery for over 10 years, specialising in whole foods based cuisine that has ethnic influences and incorporates seasonal ingredients.

Fiona Elwell

Fiona owned and ran her own vegetarian restaurant for 10 years before joining The Organic Farm Shop as a full time cook.
She loves to work at the farm where she is always inspired by working so closely with the vegetable growers. Fiona has been teaching in the farmshop teaching kitchen for the last five years, fitting it in with having Charlie, her now four year old son.

Sarah Beadsmoore

Sarah trained in Hotel Management and Catering and has worked as a cook in many different situations, including on boats in France and England. She has a second career as a handloom weaver, but has always continued to cook, and has worked part time at The Organic Farm Shop since it opened in 1999. Sarah especially enjoys cake and pastry making.

Celia Duplock

Celia has been interested in nutrition and healthy eating for many years and trained as a Macrobiotic Cook, Counsellor and Healing Cook at the International Macrobiotic School in Devon.

She is passionate about preparing and eating wholefoods and is convinced that a balanced, healthy diet and lifestyle can often prevent and in some cases, even reverse the onset of many common diseases by strengthening the body’s own natural defence mechanism.
