This inspirational day course introduces the idea of using blockprint
as a quick and accessible way of creating surface design on paper and
cloth. With a little historical background, information about
equipment and materials, everyone is encouraged to immerse themselves
in the fascinating process of combining pattern and colour.
All equipment and materials provided please wear old clothes.
The cost includes all materials and a light organic lunch.

Lino Block cutting and Design Development

This dynamic day course can be used as a follow on from Pattern Power
1, or as a stand alone course. It offers the opportunity to cut lino
blocks as a means of developing design and pattern potential, and
increases skill in the process of printing and colour mixing. More
information on practitioners, designers, books, museums and places of
interest incorporated in the day.
